I am an ICAEW Charted Accountant, obtaining my qualification while working at Deloitte in London where I have been employed for the last 5+ years in the Equity Capital Markets team. I have mostly grown up in and completed my education in the UK.
In my free time, I enjoy reading books and learning about History, as well as watching comedy shows on TV. I tend to pick up hobbies temporarily to learn new skills, such as playing the guitar, woodworking and drawing. I love to go on city breaks, splitting my time between exploring, sightseeing and trying the local cuisine, but also like going hiking in areas of natural beauty.
My family originally comes from the Saharanpur district in Uttar Pradesh. I make sure to go back to India at least once a year to visit family, and to reconnect with my roots. Being close to my family is very important to me.
